A hundred generations destroyed each year
By a demon we got the chains to imprison
With hunger and instant gratification
We let them loose
After all, we try to protect human rights
Yet we allow it take away human lives
This declaration is so simple
“Don’t drink and drive”
Life’s got many tears to folks, don’t add to it
My boy got accepted into college
Mum is really excited, but he can never be a grad
Because of someone’s youthful exuberant.
Let’s lock up the spirit
Safeguard the consumer with a taxi
Keep the road clean
Preserve the future
You too can #SaveThe100
Don’t drink and drive!
Ever felt pains before you went to bed
Thinking it would be gone overnight
Only to wake with it in the morning?
I’m talking about the pain
That pain reliever can’t relieve
Neither can pain-killers kill
The kind of pain that kills pain-killer
It’s really painful
And instead of dying it’s growing
Like pregnancy, it grows bigger every passing minutes
Unlike pregnancy it’s bearing no fruit
Like weeds in a precious garden
Turn on your twitter feeds
Everyone is spreading
The wildfire keeps spreading
Even the first responders are retweeting it
It has eaten so deeply into our lives
That it now becomes a part of our lives
WatchOut for Pain 2
The things I see
Eyes have not seen
Ears have not heard
A new identity is needed
Rather, a renewed identity
One only love can give
And only love can preserve
The things I see
Mouth cannot tell
They’re unlawful to utter
Not that they’re unlawful
They just don’t appeal to the senses
They are the unrefined gold
Stored in a deserted building.
The things I see
They scare me to death
But are the reason for my living
The dream of promised land in the land of captivity
A million kids with all identity going to school
From the land of hopelessness
The things I see
A vision beyond human percipience
But with your renewed identity
You can catch the glimpse and refine the gold
And from the land of hopelessness
Love, faith and hope fill the nations.
Live Today as a Gift – be grateful for every breathe you take, every success you achieve, and every opportunity you have to be a better person (either through losses, challenges, failures or disappointments
Live Today As a Seed – invest in your future and avoid instant gratification & wastage of resources. Create something even if you don’t really understand what it is.
Live Today like the Saviour – pattern your life as those you are the saviour that the community, people or company you find yourself in are waiting for. Add values to the lives of those around you.
Live Today as those Tomorrow is a Wishful Thinking – do and be your very best today. Strive to get the optimal performance or use of your available resources. Imagine today is the only day you have to live and tomorrow is an evaluation of today.
Live Today as a Child – love as if you whole world loves you, as if you have never been hurt and as if you won’t be here forever: bring positive energy along with your warm smiles, strengthen the faith of others, lift up the fallen, help the blind to see the beauty in life, place with everyone and live freely
Live Today for those who don’t have Tomorrow – use your giftings (time, money, resources, networks, etc) to support the less privilege. Volunteer at a charity; give your seat on the bus to a senior, pregnant woman, child or someone with accessibility challenge; speak out against injustice; help raise awareness about something that matters to you but for the benefit of others.
What is stronger than death if we will all die?
How strong is death if its part of life?
If we will die someday why should we be afraid of death?
Yet, we will not all die because One died for us all
He paid the prize so we will all become change for Him
We are dead to the fear of death
Death died before we were even born
And we resurrected with the power over death
Immortality is brought back to light
So let us let our lights so shine before men
That they see our fearlessness over death
And glorify the One who paid the prize
For death has no power over the risen
Happy Victory Life
If all you see is what you can see
Then you need a pair of glasses
Maybe not for your optics
But for your heart
Your eyes are naked
They only see what is physical
Your heart is protected
It can see what’s not visible
So don’t live by what you see
Live by your heart
After all, even the just shall live by faith.
Two close friends sat under the Sun
One got sunburn
The other got vitamin D
Is the Sun partial?
No! She’s fair not human
What makes the difference?
Their relationship with the solar system
Or simply put, their distance from the equator.
Now you see that
The race is not to the switch
Nor battle to the strong
But distance and relationship happen to them all.
Since your relationships matters
What is your relationship with the Son?
Are you building your relationship with the Son
Or you’re busy chasing everything under the Sun?
Because when all said and done,
When you follow the road all runners go
And your purse cannot save your pulse
You will get to face your source
And the only thing that will matter
Will be your relationship with the Son
Give your life to Jesus today
And your faith will guide your fate.
We are all here claiming and professing to be from the royal family because we know the King’s name or by adoption through the son’s blood.
Hopefully when the son comes shining like the stars he won’t call us bastard because we missed the way by following our ways.
May we not live like our ancestors who were exiled from the kingdom for their ill-doings. But rather be like our forefathers who were enshrined into the kingdom despite their wrongdoings. Amen!
Put a ring on it
It’s a social insurance
It makes a baby feel assured of your commitment
But does it make a baby committed?
Sell me no lies, for I’m no stranger to the Truth.
