𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖

Hello Tomorrow
I know you will great
Because the Word says so
And I look forward to seeing you.
And though Today seems rough
And my vision looking foggy
And tarrying longer than anticipated
Like the Deluxe version of Winnipeg winter
That I still get to love and enjoy
Yet will I joyfully endure the cross
Despising the shame
Even the shame of daily trying to explain
"God's time is the best"
Even to those who taught me that.

I am not doing that by my strength though
Because "by strength shall no man prevail"
Neither is a mighty man delivered by much strength
I am looking up to Jesus,
The perfect example of rejoicing in trials
Because of His Tomorrow - seating at the right hand of the Father
And I trust him as a joint-heir with him.
Therefore, though I want you, Tomorrow
To be tomorrow based on our Central Times
Even if you tarry, I will graciously wait
Because I know that like a vision from God
You, Tomorrow is an appointed time
And you will surely come and not tarry.
While I'm waiting to see you
I am not just seating idle waiting for you
Rather, I am preparing for you
I am partnering with the Holy Spirit,
My Senior Advocate and Helper
To solidify the foundations
On which you will be built
Making sure that it's rock-solid
And able to withstand the rains,
The floods, the storms and the tempest of life
So that when you come, Tomorrow,
You will be proud of what Grace
Has empowered and strengthened us
To build Today.
It's around 8:51PM central times Today
And it's getting late here
Night is coming when no man can work
So let me go tidy up and refresh
Before Today runs out
See you Tomorrow!

Life is a Time Game

Every move in life is like a game.

And so you need to ask and consider a few questions:

what are the rules of the game?

what are the risk of the game?

What are the possible rewards?

What happens if it’s wrong move?

What are the consequences of making the wrong move?

Is there any opportunity for second chance?

Is there any cheat codes?

Can you possibly cheat and get away with?

What’s the consequences if caught?

Is there an opportunity to quit along the way?

How do you know when you have won or lost the game?

Does it really matter if you win or lose the game?

But again, remember that you don’t always have the luxury of time to consider all these things.

So what exactly will you do when you are confronted with an opportunity to make a move?

Actually, I think the bigger question is why on earth did I risk what I just did just to tell you Happy New Year?

I want you to think. Maybe I want you to plan. Or maybe plan to think or maybe I want you to think of a plan.

Anyways, it’s a new year!

Whether you think, plan, move or stay put

Remember that

life is a time game and you are born a player.

THE STATE OF MANKIND

When I look at

The state of mankind

How God has given him

A few years to live and prepare

For eternity as a memory

I feel pity and sorrow for the younger me

Who was taught to believe that

“Youth is the time to experiment with life”

I guess I’m just another victim of Lucifer’s lies.

When you are young

You can almost say or do anything

And get away with it

But when you become an adult

You will be held accountable and responsible

For everything you say or do

Including the one you said or did as a youth

So I ask myself [and probably you reading this]

Is youth really a season to experiment with life?

The Eminence – M.H.C

It is safe to say that in recent years and decades, the cemetery has its highest tenancy occupancy rate in the year 2020. The year that historically, politically and socio-economically we were supposed to witness the manifestation of the peak advancement [improvement] in human society and quality of life.

The rapidity of the spread of the covid19 virus and the egregious and catastrophic destruction of the global human capital is a testament to the inability and incapability of humans [and science] to fully understand, respond to and resolve human or societal issues as we claimed.

The gregarious nature of man was curtailed in an attempt to preserve him from being wasted by the virus. The isolation of man [a social being] through the proposition of “healthy individualism” coupled with the constant exposure, feeding and rumination on negativity [rising deaths, hospitalization and cases of Coronavirus] triggers an outrageous deterioration of #mentalhealth.

Human institutions such as religious organizations where people tend to find solace and are historically known to enhance or foster the sense of community, togetherness, love and mutual understanding, have had their activities restricted to the barest minimum possible and in most instances provided virtually. Additional exposure to the digital world.

Therefore, even if the world is successfully vaccinated against Covid-19 and its variants, we should be planning for a global mental health and emotional crises. And begin training and equipping our households, offices, organizations and communities with the appropriate resources to help manage it. The complexity, sensitivity, almost asymptomatic and realistically incurable nature of some #mentalhealthcrises makes it even more deadly than the virus, thereby necessitating an aggressive approach and attention to it.

Check In / What Am I Doing?

My friends support me, privately

Mostly in their hearts

My enemies rage against me, publicly

Using all the social platforms

I feel I’m inspiring lives

Obviously I’m creating barriers

I believe I’m building bridges

But the walls speak louder

The wall builders have every reason

To be angry with me because

I am building bridges with the tools

That could have been used to build walls

They are totally public yet highly rivalrous

But the question is what am I doing?

.

If I don’t know who I am

I would believe the obvious

Actually if I don’t know who’s I AM

I probably would have been lost

In the midst of the endless negativities I see

I found hope in timeless words I often don’t see

It is easier to tell someone how to calm a storm

When you have never witnessed a tempest

But when the wind is boisterous

You will almost forget that you are alive.

.

I am telling you someone’s story

Someone that’s dear to you

But you don’t know

Someone you know so well

But don’t know how they are doing

Someone that needs you

But you care less about their needs

Someone that needs your attention

But you think they have enough

Someone that’s living with you

But you don’t know how they’re living.

.

I need a little help from you

Just check in on your friends and family members

Even if they seem to be doing well

What you see outside, especially on social media

Is not really what is happening inside

And you checking in may just be

The difference between resting and taking a rest.

And you checking in may just be the difference between resting and taking a rest

𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒

This is the story of my high expectations from the people I respect. And how I allowed my disappointments and unmet expectations affect my service to God

We were working on something edifying

Something that bring glory to GOD

Before the success

We were all excited about what God is doing

Though we didn’t have much

We were very supportive of each other

We were celebrating the little things,

Milestones that we reach

And we were praising God for it

And we were trusting God for something better

We wanted to be able to reach thousands

For Jesus Christ

With his message of love, faith and hope

We wanted to be able to reach thousands for Christ. With his message of love, faith and hope

We keep sowing seeds mornings, afternoons, nights

Every opportunities we have

And like King Solomon advised (Ecclesiastes 11)

Spread your seeds everywhere

Because you don’t which God will bless.

Just Don’t Keep Me Waiting

Treat me like a patient

Just don’t keep me waiting

I know I’ve got some patience

But this is an emergency

And it needs urgent attention

But you can’t know what I want

If you don’t know who I am

Like, how do you know where I’m going

If you don’t know what’s driving me

My life is a journey

The destination, time unfolding

I know the Way am following

The speed the pain is slowing

You can follow me on

While I try to figure things out

Or you can wait and observe

Till it’s all figured out

But just don’t keep me waiting

For I’m a patient

And time is of essence.
