If I ever get to regret
I will regret the day I regretted
Eating the food that made me purge
My stomach needed that much cleansing

I have many friends Yet I am most lonely I have some followers Yet I am no one's leader I am surrounding by many Yet I am deeply empty inside Many people looking up to me Yet I have no one to look up to. (more…)
What is important to you?
Or what should you care about?
Is it about what you feel?
Or what we feel about you?
I pick up my pen to write
The battle is not about
What to write about
But rather what I am
Expected to write about.
I am stuck between these
Contrasting worlds of mine
To write my heart
Which you do not want to hear
Or to write what you want
Which I may not really care about.
Why am I evening thinking
About what you want?
I have a life to live
If you want someone
Who will do exactly what you want
Why not get a clone of you?
You have enough resources, why not make one?
I have a life to live
A saviour to please
Poems to write
And records to break
My mind to speak
And a mission to fulfill
And after all said and done
I have my life to account.
I hear many voices
But who’s speaking?
Am I to listen to the voices
Or to know who’s speaking?
Will listening to the voices
Help me know who’s speaking?
Or will the voices
Distract me from who’s speaking?
Though my soul is constantly tormented by the surrounding voices
My dear heart pants to hear who’s speaking
Like the hungry soul of a pilgrim looking for direction
In a wilderness with many roads and deception
I wish I could be alone with no voices
But true silence only exist outside of the land of the living.
Please, who can help me filter these voices?
For my existence is tied to identifying and following the one who’s speaking.
The clock is ticking so fast
Yet I will wait for the Lord’s time
Everyone and everything is going very fast
Yet the silent voice says ‘the best is in God’s time’
Microwave, drive-thru, social media, all seem fast
Yet Mama said ‘good things take time’
So though the vision may tarry yet will I hold fast
Cause the vision is for an appointed time.

Whenever you are blessed
To wake up in the morning,
You get to tell yourself:
I am
A child of God
A child of Faith
A child of Grace
A child of Destiny
A child with a Vision
A child with a Mission
A child of Excellence
A child redeemed by Love
A child purchased by the Blood on the Cross
A rescued child to bring peace, hope and joy
To this world of hopelessness.
A child called to show forth
The Excellency and Supremacy of God
A child well loved and cherished by the Father
This is who I am in Christ Jesus.

I know we were all created in God’s image
The oppressors say ‘all fingers are not equal’
We believe this from our youth
A well advertised fallacy of composition
How can we be so fooled?
They sold us the drugs
Saying it’s for our recreation
We took in the Kool-Aid
And now we are wasting away
Falling like leaves in Fall
Instead of flourishing like Poets in Autumn
We buy them with our life savings
Now they disenfranchised us as mentally unstable.
“And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”- Matthew 19:24 NKJV
“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some have wandered away from the faith and have impaled themselves with a lot of pain because they made money their goal.”- 1 Timothy 6:10 CEB
Is money evil?
Will Christian life be easier without money?
Should a Christian have money?
Money itself is NOT evil. In fact, money is good and according to King Solomon through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, money is a defence (Ecclesiastes 7v12). Money is one of the blessings of GOD to be received with thanksgiving just like marriage and food (1 Timothy 4v3-4). Money, just like every other gifts of GOD only becomes an issue when we put our trust in it – when we begin to exalt the gift more than the Giver (Proverbs 11v28; Mark 10v24; 1 Timothy 6v17; Psalm 48v6-20).
Therefore, first of all, be contented with whatever you have and glorify GOD for and with it. For godliness with contentment is great wealth (1 Timothy 6v6).
Secondly, Jesus is not sad about His followers and joint-heirs having money, property or wealth as people usually misinterpreted from the conversation between Jesus and the rich young ruler (Matthew 19v15-30). He is only sad when our material possessions become our priority (take the place of GOD) in our lives. Have money, as much as possible under GOD, and use it (wealth) as a tool to serve GOD and further the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
Be the Joseph of Arimathaea (Mark 15v43-47; Matthew 27v57-61) and the Nicodemus (John 19v38-41) of your family, community and generation. By using your wealth, status and influence to better the lives of people & communities around you.
Grace be multiplied unto you!🙏
