Love is as strong as death
Yet love is stronger than death
Because love conquered death
Through the death on the Cross
Many waters cannot quench love
Nor can the flood drown it
For love parted the Red Sea and Jordan River
And the fire of love licked the Overflowing drench of water
If a man will give all his wealth
And even his body to be burned
Yet all his gifts and sacrifices would be despised
Because he hath not a relationship with love
You can build the Great Wall of China with cedar
Or send the Union Army to keep guard
Even roll stones over your heart against love
Love is spirit and sharper than two-edged sword and will pierce through it all
You may have a thousand servants
And your garden blossom like the tree planted by the river of waters
It will all fade away but the Word of Love stands forever
And love covers a multitude of sins
So while men chase after beauty that fades
And some charms- that's deceitful
Keep your gaze on love
For love is the greatest of all and lasts forever.
