My Lost Treasure

Like a lily, you grew up so quickly

Radiating the glory and splendor embedded within.

And like the grass, you withered away too quickly

That we couldn’t capture the true value of your personality.

.

Leaving an indelible vacuum in the field

A vacuum that only wishes can fill

But wishes are never horses

Else I would have been an ostler.

.

When I think of the visions and people you could have reached

Tears roll down my cheek

Yet like Solomon, when I consider the evil in the world

I congratulate and count you fortunate to have left early.

.

I call you my lost treasure

But since you’re not in ‘lost n found’

You’re better called my ‘Stolen Treasure’

As the freezing hand of death has stolen you from us.

.

Your desire to become a world trader was cut short by this aggressive monopolist

Your sun set before the dew of the dawn

And your midday dark as dusk felt like 9:11

Rest well beloved, I will see you at home when I finish the good fight!

MY ORDER IS ON THE WAY

I weep all night, my room is Niagara Fall

Yet no one cares to pay a visit even for a free view

The things I used to love now torment my soul

Even in Fall my tears aint dried up.

.

I was born in fall and my leafs dried up

But where there is fall, snow falls even much more

Turn a snowman, they say, so you can survive the weather

The little breeze in my heart keep me living.

.

Ice queen tried to slow me like flurry

I had to skip her like dishes

A. Gabriel, my courier is on the way

Don’t salivate brother, my order is not to be shared.

.

T’Challa waiting for Cinderella to grow up

But what can unite these two parallel worlds?

Mum said love’s arsenal transcends all barriers

Now I want to speak with bae but it’s all scripted.

LOSING A CLOSE FRIEND

Love, joy and laughter

Order of my work with you

When together, a moment of joy

That make life easier and better.

Though we never knew each other before

Work, no, God connects us

Time together was a research labs

We discovered new cures.

For the daily scheduling disease

That cancer torment our souls with no cause

The epidemic that seems to have no cure

The sun shines on us.

We learn and challenge each other

Your decisions inspired me

Now am thrilled for the nocturnal life

For much joy rest in the resting hours.

But nature, no, humans cut the joy short

With hatred, reviews and negative energies

Now another deadly cancer you need to suffer

But no, you chose to live free.

They lose you, but you gain honours

Poetic justice, I guess am the judge

Goodnews: ain’t lose you, we only gain peace

I miss you brotherly! See you at the top.
