When all said and done, the only thing that will matter will be your relationship with the Son.
Like a lily, you grew up so quickly
Radiating the glory and splendor embedded within.
And like the grass, you withered away too quickly
That we couldn’t capture the true value of your personality.
Leaving an indelible vacuum in the field
A vacuum that only wishes can fill
But wishes are never horses
Else I would have been an ostler.
When I think of the visions and people you could have reached
Tears roll down my cheek
Yet like Solomon, when I consider the evil in the world
I congratulate and count you fortunate to have left early.
I call you my lost treasure
But since you’re not in ‘lost n found’
You’re better called my ‘Stolen Treasure’
As the freezing hand of death has stolen you from us.
Your desire to become a world trader was cut short by this aggressive monopolist
Your sun set before the dew of the dawn
And your midday dark as dusk felt like 9:11
Rest well beloved, I will see you at home when I finish the good fight!
May we not miss the way by following our ways
Mission introduce me to wifey
I pay a visit to her house, but I need WiFi
They watching movies I don’t like sci-fi
I’m now connected but it’s time for lectures, bye bye
They say you’re supposed to be married now
I asked if everyone is married who is Love now?
Then I say to wifey – be the absolute best of you
Learn from others but stick to your lane
Let’s live light and avoid unnecessary weights
Live within your means but trust God for your vision
Be authentic, don’t add filters except for kids’ snacks
Be wise as serpent but harmless as dove
Be swift yet focus as the eagle
Be true to your calling
Function in wisdom, not human ideology
And walk by faith not theology
For you are a just, not just human.
Then my royalty bids me grace not farewell
Love limitlessly – if your love has limit then you’re not a true lover
Let our hope speak louder than our fears
Life is succinct and fleeting with every ticking of the clock
And so let’s live every moment to the glory of God
Be filled with joy always to overflow
Be grateful and thankful.
See you soon, my love!
Love, joy and laughter
Order of my work with you
When together, a moment of joy
That make life easier and better.
Though we never knew each other before
Work, no, God connects us
Time together was a research labs
We discovered new cures.
For the daily scheduling disease
That cancer torment our souls with no cause
The epidemic that seems to have no cure
The sun shines on us.
We learn and challenge each other
Your decisions inspired me
Now am thrilled for the nocturnal life
For much joy rest in the resting hours.
But nature, no, humans cut the joy short
With hatred, reviews and negative energies
Now another deadly cancer you need to suffer
But no, you chose to live free.
They lose you, but you gain honours
Poetic justice, I guess am the judge
Goodnews: ain’t lose you, we only gain peace
I miss you brotherly! See you at the top.
Make me a home in your heart
And I will dwell in you forever.
Make me a bed in your kitchen
And my rest will be full.
Make me a garden in your bossom
And I will plant all roses.
Make me a refinery in your purse
And I will never run out of gas.
Make me a room in your fourth
And I will declare our independence.
Ticking clock, hastening age, dashing dreams
Malnourished, thirsty and starving
Love deficient, hopeless faith, fleeting life
A dying heart needing CPR, no paramedics.
Never been taught what love’s like, nor imagined I could love
Thought love is only in Hollywood
But if love is Hollywood, we are forever doomed to be selfish
Love was long dead, forgotten, and now abstract.
Meeting you made me a doctor of Love
A dying patient becoming a doctor?
Resuscitation! Your love makes my heart functional
Your love changes everything.
I lost everything just to gain patience
A covering for the rainy days
Raincoat not just an umbrella that covers part
My light in my dark hours.
Every ticking clock ignites the flame of unfeignedly boundless love
The thought of you polishes the rough edges of my limbic system
Your love is the experience of lifetime
Eternity in perspective.
A love that last not like the last
A love from the heart not books
A love on giving, but first the heart
A love so loud to the deaf even without words.
Now I’m prisoner of love,
A prisoner with no one to bail
Chained to your lotus blossoming tender-kindness
Forever secured by your dove-charmed breastplate, I’m yours!
