FOLLOW YOUR TIMELINE

Fulfilment or ultimate success in life is personal. You can seek the assistance or guidance of others. You can also get inspiration from others. But make sure you are running your race according to your timeline and not what others add on your timeline.

Like the popular saying “we will not all journey through the same route”, identify your route and stick to it. Take full responsibility for your own failure and success in life because you are ultimately responsible for them anyways.

Using the exact words of the wisest man ever, King Solomon “There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven” – Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP. There is a chronological arrangement of events in everyone’s life which is unique to the individual. Two identical twins, though born physically alike, have distinctive purposes and missions on earth.

Even your DNA is a constant reminder of your uniqueness in purpose, mission and timeline.

Some of us are given a hundred years to fulfill our missions. Some others of us are given 80% of that.

Some of us may have to get married in order to fulfill our purpose in life. Some others of us, marriage may be a distraction to our fulfilment in life.

Some of us will know our spouses even while in school and not ready to get married, some others of us will only know our spouses when we are ready to get married.

Some of us will have to build our own houses before we get married, while owning a house will distract some others of us from getting married.

Some of us will get married by 25, some other of us will get married after 30.

Some of us will be billionaires at 25, some others of us will be billionaires after 30. Some of us will be making others billionaires. Some others of us will be billionaires on the other side.

Some of us will be owners of businesses and/or organizations, some others of us will be managers of businesses and/or organizations.

Some of us will be pastors, prophets, apostles, teachers, evangelists, etc. Some other of us will be sons and daughters of encouragement.

Some of us will be politicians, some others of us will be soldiers.

Some of us will be playing lead roles in organizational/institutional or national development, while others of us will play background roles.

What is most important is not the status of our accomplishments in life but rather, the accomplishment of our statuses.
Know what you are here for, when you are to achieve it and follow through with it. Do not get discouraged by other people’s accomplishments or how fast they accomplish theirs. Neither should you become so “inspired” as to get married or start a career because others are going into it.

Know your own timeline and stay on your lane

DO YOU LOVE ME?

In a society where violence, hatred, lust, abuse (in all forms and types), pride and interclan rivalry are norms. A world, where warriors are celebrated as heroes while lovers are ridiculed as villains.

Maturity is not growing up to live as you were brought-up or thought to but rather, true maturity is growing up to love as you are supposed to irrespective of how you were brought up.

Though I was born into gross hatred, I am deeply grateful to have been conquered with an extravagant love. And so now, my main purpose is to be an Ambassador of Love.

You loving me is not a requirement for my daily life but me loving you is a necessity for my existence.
It is your choice whether or not to love me but it is my obligation and responsibility to love you irrespective of your choice, decision, belief, background, action, or reaction.
I cannot live without loving you because love has become an inherent and integral part of my life and so I cannot decide not to love.

It is so much of a disservice for me to think of not loving you.
As long as you are human, you deserve my love whether or not you feel you need it, is not a factor.

This should be our decision and vision in life. We should make up our minds to love people irrespective of what they have said, planned to do or have done to us. Like Paul of Tarsus said, “Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.”_Romans 12:21 AMPC. Make it a point of duty to show love to the people that you are privileged to come in contact with.

Whenever someone tells me “Christian, I don’t like you”
In my head: that doesn’t count
My response is: That’s fine, thanks for telling me. I love you anyways.
Because my love for people is not a function of their love for me but rather a spillover of the Extravagant Love of Jesus Christ for me (He loves me passionately and personally despite my erroneous thoughts, ignorance, constant antagonism and disobedience to His Love).

This is why like Paul of Tarsus, “I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.” _Acts 24:16 NKJV. You have to make a conscious effort to live peaceably with everybody, as much as it is within your ability to do so. You may not be able to control the actions or reactions of people towards you but with love, you are able to influence their decisions consciously or unconsciously.

In conclusion,

The more you grow in love, the freer and more joyous you will become, because love brings healing to your soul by binding the open wounds in your heart.
Therefore, loving others (especially those who have hurt you in the past) is a true test of your love for yourself.

WHEN I SEE DARKNESS

When I looked outside my window

I saw enemies with their hatred

And weapons to attack my vision

But I am not disturbed by them

Because I am living with I AM

And surrounded by His Shield

Of Love and Chariots of Fire

With the Chariots of Fire,

I am protected by I AM even with

My little faith like the mustard seed.

With His shield of Love,

I am ignited by Grace to blossom

As the light that the enemies need

To come to the Light of Love.

Therefore, the darkness that I thought

Was preventing my external vision

And making me shortsighted,

Was as Love opens my eyes,

The condition for my light

To shine brighter to the point of

Giving vision to others from a far

And pointing others to the

Light of Love that lightens all paths

And lead to life with Light no end.

So when I look at my window now,

I no more see hatred of the enemies

But rather, I see the prepared field

For the massive harvest of Love.

Whenever I am in my house now,

I invest in love through my partnership

With I AM as I am engraced

And as I am coming outside of my house,

I ignite the light of Love to cultivate

The ready-made field and bring home

Lights, who are the profits of the Love to Light.

When I see darkness, I invest in Love and I ignite my Light

SHAKE IT OFF

God is not good because we said God is good. Being good is God’s nature. Whatever we say of God does not change who God is, but rather it changes our level of connectivity, relationship, and fellowship with God.

And so, as well-cherished people made in the image and likeness of God, people’s opinions, thoughts, feelings and reactions toward us should not affect what we are or where we are going.

If someone tells you something deserving garbage bin, please immediately (no second thought), dust it off.

If someone tells you something that can be useful to your life, recycle it.

If someone tells you something deserving of honour, graciously appreciate it.

Do not live your life accumulating and ruminating on things that are supposed to be in the garbage.

Never accept, never think about, and never give, anything that does not have the ability to build up.

And this whole process requires your ability to identify who you are and where you are heading to because some of the things deserving garbage bin may appear to be deserving of honour and vice versa.

When you know or have your vision, protect it with the whole of your being because

                         “A Protected Vision is a Fortified Destiny”

CHRISTIAN WITH THE TROPHY

And when you have a great dream, do not remain in your bed thinking about it. Wake up, stand up, work smarter and let it guide your choice of partners because it is what makes the difference between “those who live in their DreamedLand and those who live in their Dreamland”.

Just as the difference between “Dreamland” and “DreamedLand” is just an addition of two alphabets “E and D” to the simple. The difference between both words (and worlds) to the person of understanding is “Effective or Efficient Discipline”. Discipline yourself effectively and efficiently to accomplish your dreams.

The difference between those who live in their DreamedLand and those who live in their Dreamland is Effective Discipline.

In summary,
Know your identity (you can read previous articles https://wordpress.com/post/chrislovecgo.wordpress.com/471 ). Have a vision. Protect your vision. Listen to, take and give good counsels. Apply vision-sensitive filters. And effectively discipline yourself.
